DEMOVITS (DMUBITS)
He was born in Lomzhe, Poland. He wrote under the name “Dmubits, Ab”
(initials for Avrom ben Yitskhok). He
first published a correspondence piece on November 8, 1896 in Hamelits (The advocate), concerning how
the rich buy themselves out of military service, and in their stead children from
poor families are seized. He was later
editor of Lomzher shtime (Voice of
Lomzhe). Biographical details remain unknown.
