YITSKHOK DRAPKIN
            His family came from Podolia, Ukraine.  In his youth he moved to Argentina.  He was a colonist, a laborer, and a merchant.  He was one of the pioneers of Yiddish publishing in Rosario.  Together with Mikhl Hacohen Sinai, he edited a weekly newspaper, Der veker (The alarm), in Rosario in the early twentieth century.
