YISROEL
AYZENBERG (ISRAEL EISENBERG) (November 26, 1915-January 4, 2003)
He was born in Warsaw. He studied in a yeshiva in Lublin and
graduated from middle school. He
survived Auschwitz and Majdenek. In 1949
he emigrated to the United States and settled in Los Angeles. He wrote for Lublin shtime (Voice of Lublin) in Tel Aviv. He authored Far vos grod ikh? Kapitlen fun payn, gvure un hofenung (Why me?
Chapters of pain, valor, and hope) (Tel Aviv: Yisroel-bukh, 1980), 228 pp.
