YITSKHOK AYZENBERG

YITSKHOK AYZENBERG (December 22, 1913-November 15, 1979)
Born in Pinsk.  He studied in the University of Warsaw.  In 1934 he settled in Palestine.  He wrote for Haaretz (The land [of Israel]), and he became the news editor for Haboker (This morning).  His first articles about literature and social issues were published in Dos vort (The word) and Yugnt-frayhayt (Youth freedom) (Warsaw, 1932).  He wrote from Palestine for Morgn-zhurnal (Morning journal) in New York and other newspapers.  He edited magazines in Palestine dedicated to young people and sports.  He died in Tel Aviv.
