HENEKH ISH

HENEKH ISH (ca. 1890)
Born in a town near Warsaw.  In 1912 he was a contributor to Unzer lebn (Our life) in Warsaw (edited by Hokhberg); in 1916 to Varshever tsaytung (Warsaw newspaper) (edited by H. D. Nomberg), Lubliner togblat (Lublin daily) (edited by Sh. Y. Stupnitski), and Moment (Moment), as well as a regular contributor to Haynt (Today).  1918-1921, he served as secretary of the Warsaw literary society.  He edited and published Handls-tsaytung (Business newspaper), a weekly out of Warsaw, no. 1 (March 1924).  He died in the Warsaw Ghetto.
