S. BRONSHTEYN
He was living in Bucharest in the 1930s when he wrote poetry
on social themes. He spent time in
prison. Among his books: Moldavye,
mayn heym, lider un poemen (Moldavia, my home, songs and poems) (Bucharest,
1938), 45 pp.; Kh’hob geefnt breyt di toyern (I’ve opened the gates
widely), poems (Bucharest, 1939).
