MOSHE BRIL (186?-September 1921)
He was born in Paris, and he studied
in Germany and later in England. He was
the son of Yeḥiel
Bril, editor of Shulamis and Halevanon. After his father’s death, he became sole editor
of Shulamis. He translated
Disraeli’s The Wondrous Tale of Alroy and Lehman’s stories.
He served as editor of Idishe telefon (Jewish telephone), a
weekly and later a daily newspaper.
