M. Y. BLYAKH
He hailed from Dvinsk (Daugavpils),
Russia. He was an active Poale-Tsiyon
leader, and he taught in the Jewish school (Poale-Tsiyon) in Dvinsk. He contributed to the Poale-Tsiyon Party press. Over the years 1920-1927, he worked on the
daily newspaper Dos folk (The people) in Riga, in which he published,
aside from correspondence pieces from Dvinsk, short stories and sketches of
Jewish and labor life.
