MAKS KLOS (ca. 1900-ca. 1976)
He was an
actor, born in Pultusk (Pułtusk),
Poland. Over the years 1919-1937, he
lived in Germany, later in Belgium. From
his youth he acted in Yiddish theater in a number of countries. In 1939 he emigrated to Argentina, later to
Brazil. He published theater memoirs in
his book, Baym shayn fun rompe-likht
(In the reflection of the footlights) (Buenos Aires, 1972), 302 pp. He died in Rio de Janeiro.
