YANKEV KREMEN (b. December 29, 1883)
He was
born in Berestetshko (Berestechko), Volhynia.
He made his way to the United States in 1904. He wrote stories and articles for: Fraye arbeter shtime (Free voice of labor),
Yidishes tageblat (Jewish daily
news), Forverts (Forward), Varhayt (Truth), Morgn-zhurnal (Morning journal), Der amerikaner (The American), and Teater-zhurnal (Theater journal), among other serials, using the pen
name Bar-Yosi. For his popular science
articles, he used the pseudonym Y. Flikht.
