(ROSA) KERSH (July 15, 1908-November 3, 1979)
She was born in Patsanov (Pacanów),
Poland. After WWII she wrote reportage pieces
for: Folks-shtime (Voice of the
people) in Warsaw, Ilustrirte yidishe
nayes (Illustrated Jewish news) in Melbourne, and Unzer vort (Our word) in Paris, among other serials. In book form: Dos tsetele iz geblibn afn tish (The note remained on the desk),
stories (Tel Aviv, 1981), 190 pp. She
was the wife of Yude Kersh. She died in
Bat Yam, Israel.
