MOYSHE KREYN


MOYSHE KREYN (1892-1933)
            He was born in Telz, Lithuania.  In 1913 he moved to South Africa; from 1920 he was living in Berlin and Paris.  In 1930 he received a high post in the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and settled in Moscow.  He traveled for medical treatment to Berlin and died there.  He was editor of Dos naye vort (the new word) in Johannesburg (July-December1916) which was published by the Yiddish literary association.  He wrote poetry and articles.  Among his pen names: Mohikan and M. H. Minkin.  He died in Berlin.
