SHLOYME KELMANSON


SHLOYME KELMANSON (February 23, 1910-October 19, 1969)
            He was born in Kobrin.  He moved to Uruguay in 1933.  He wrote stories, humorous sketches, and memoirs in Montevideo’s serial publications: Haynt (Today), Do (Here), and Dos vort (The word); and Ilustrirte literarishe bleter (Illustrated literary leaves) in Buenos Aires.  He contributed to the remembrance volume for Kobrin.  He died in Montevideo.
