MENAKHEM-MENDL KRETSHMER

MENAKHEM-MENDL KRETSHMER (1883-early 1933)

            He was an Orthodox journalist and writer, the author of descriptions and monographs concerning the Hassidic movement and Talmudic personalities.  He wrote for Frimorgn (Morning) in Riga, as well as for Lodzer folksblat (Lodz people’s newspaper).  His pen name was Mendl Yashtshevitser.  He died in Riga.
