LEO (LEYB) GORDON (b. 1914)
He hailed from a town near Lomzhe,
Poland, and studied in a religious elementary school and a Polish public
school. He later became a laborer. From 1937 he was publishing stories in Undzer
ekspres (Our express) and Naye folkstsaytung (New people’s
newspaper) in Warsaw. During WWII, he
was for a time in Bialystok, later leaving for Russia. Biographical details and his subsequent
career remain unknown.
