ESTER RIMER (b. April 1915)
She was
born in Berestetshko (Berestechko), Volhynia.
From 1932 she was living in Argentina.
She wrote poetry and stories in both Yiddish and Spanish. In March 1979 she received an award from the
Spanish-language writers’ association in La Plata for her story “White Bread.” In book form: Broyt un libshaft (Bread and love) (Buenos Aires: IKUF, 1967), 148
