MIKHAIL SHAMBADAL

MIKHAIL SHAMBADAL (1881-1964)

            He was a translator of classical and Soviet Yiddish literature into Russian. His first publications appeared in the 1930s. He was particularly successful translating Sholem-Aleichem. He died in Moscow.
