SHOLEM KLINGER (b. September 20, 1914)
He was
born in Khroskev (Khorostkiv), Galicia. He studied in religious primary school and
yeshiva. He graduated from a Hebrew
middle school. From 1947 he was living
in Paris. From 1950 he edited the
Mizrachi serial Unzer veg (Our way)
in Paris. He contributed to the
anthology Sholem-aleykhem, zamlbukh tsu
zayn hundertsṭn geboyrnṭog
(Sholem-Aleichem, a collection for his one hundredth birthday)
(Paris, 1959); Almanakh, farayn fun yidishe
shrayber un zhurnalistn in frankraykh (Almanac, association of Yiddish
writers and journalists in France) (Paris, 1972). He also wrote for Hatsofe (The spectator) in Tel Aviv.
