MORTKHE KORONA (1900-mid-February 1984)
The
brother of Meyer Korona, he was a journalist and school leader, born in
Shedlets (Siedlce), Poland. He spent
several years in the land Israel from 1918.
In 1923 he arrived in Mexico City.
He wrote for Der veg (The way)
and Frayvelt (Free world), and he
edited Fraynt (Friend) and a number
of school yearbooks. He was involved in
all Jewish activities. In book form: Fun meksike keyn eyles un tsurik (From
Mexico City to Eilat and back) (Mexico City, 1952), 407 pp. He died in Mexico City.
