BERL KORALNIK (September 29, 1893-May 5, 1959)
He was
born in Uman, Ukraine, the brother of Avrom Koralnik. He received a Jewish and a general education. He was an active Zionist. In 1914 he began his journalistic activities with
the Kiev Yiddish newspapers. In 1924 he
came to the land of Israel, where for twenty-five years he was the representative
for ITA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency). He
was a correspondent for Tog (Day) in
New York and other Yiddish newspapers abroad.
He died in Jerusalem.
