MEYER
PETER (b. 1896)
He was born in Kishinev,
Bessarabia. For many years he worked as
a private Yiddish-Hebrew tutor. He was a
leader in the area of abandoned and orphaned Jewish children due to war. He published articles on pedagogy in: Unzer tsayt (Our time) in Kishinev
(1920-1925); and the monthly journal Farn
idishn kind (For the Jewish child) in Kishinev (1928), of which he also
served as editor. There has been no information
about him since WWII.
