YUDE
PZHEDETSKI (1911-summer 1942)
He was born in Vlotslavek
(Włocławek), Poland,
into a family of bakers. He studied in
religious elementary school and yeshivas.
From his youth he was active in the Orthodox movement. He was a regular contributor to Yudishe tribune (Jewish tribune) in Włocławek (1930-1934). From 1940 until the summer of 1942, during
the years of Nazi occupation, he was confined in the Włocławek ghetto and
active in the educational realm. He was
murdered by the Nazis in the Chełm death pits.
