He was born in Vilkomir (Ukmergė), Lithuania. He was a teacher in Yiddishist schools in
Lithuania. He was killed in the first
days of the Nazi occupation of Ukmergė. He authored: Der kleyner bal-khesbhn (The young arithmetician) (Kovno, 1930s); Lomir rekhener, rekhnbukh far yidishe
folkshul, tsveyter lernyor (Let do the math, calculating book for Yiddish
public school, second school year) (Kaunus: G, Gutman, 1940), 118 pp.
