LOUIS
PINKUSOF (1894-April 3, 1956)
He was born in a town near Minsk,
Byelorussia. In 1906 he came to
Canada. He was a theater director and
writer. He published humorous sketches
and feature pieces in: Keneder odler
(Canadian eagle), Der idisher zhurnal
(The Jewish journal), and other serials.
A number of his plays, one act dramas, and sketches, were performed on
the Yiddish stage. He died in Montreal.
