YANKEV GERSHBERG

            This is the Russified form of the family name Hershberg.  He worked in the medical field in New York.  He wrote articles on medicine for the American Jewish press.  He authored the Yiddish pamphlet: Mogn krankheytn nokh di greste mogn spetsyalistn vi profesor eynhorn un andere (Gastric diseases following the greatest gastric specialists, such as Professor Eynhorn and others) (New York, 1907), 48 pp.  The publication was illustrated.  He wrote under the pen Har-tsvi.
