GERSHON VAYNBERGER

GERSHON VAYNBERGER (b. 1889)
            He was born in Naysandz (Nowy Sącz), Galicia.  From the time of WWI, he was living in Vienna.  He was a contributor to: Sandzer tsaytung (Sandz newspaper) in Naysandz (1909-1912), for which he was also co-editor; and Der folksfraynd (The friend of the people) in Sanok; among others.  For these he wrote editorial pieces, as well as essays on education and features.  He published as well under the pseudonyms: Hasavlan and G-V, among others.  We have no further information about him from the time that the Nazis took Vienna.
