ROKHL VAYNSHTEYN (RACHEL WEINSTEIN)

ROKHL VAYNSHTEYN (RACHEL WEINSTEIN) (September 10, 1916-May 1987)
            She was born in Rakitna, Byelorussia.  She received a religious education.  In 1947 she moved to the United States.  She was the author of Der veg tsurik (The way back) (New York, 1972), 254 pp.  It appeared in English translation by Joseph Singer with the title The Way Back (New York, 1977), 282 pp.  She died in New York.
