MIKHL
VAYNER (b. January 2, 1915)
He was born in Kobrin, Polesye. He graduated from a Tarbut high school. In April 1939, he moved to Havana, Cuba. He contributed to the local newspaper Havaner lebn (Havana life) and other
serial publications. He moved to New
York in 1943, sent correspondence pieces from New York to Havaner lebn, and in 1948 was the United Nations correspondent for
the newspaper. He also published
articles in Dos vort (The word) in
Paris. He worked as a commercial
draftsman in New York.
