YITSKHOK
SHUSHANI (b. May 1, 1914)
He was a journalist, born with the
surname Rozental in Zaromb, Poland. He
studied in the Bialystok Hebrew high school.
He was a member of central bodies of Hashomer Hatsair (Young pioneer)
and Haḥaluts (The
pioneer). From 1938 he was living in the
land of Israel. He began publishing
articles and reportage pieces in the daily newspapers Dos vort (The word) and Haynt
(Today) in Warsaw; and he wrote for Tsukunft
(Future) in New York, Keneder odler
(Canadian eagle) in Montreal, Meksikaner lebn
(Mexican life) in Mexico City, and in more Yiddish and Hebrew periodicals in
Israel.
