AVROM-LEYB
SHUR (b. 1893)
He was born in Warsaw. He served as rabbi in Shaki (Šakiai),
Lithuania, Krilov, Russia, and from 1929 in Chicago. He was among the founders of the religious
journal Shikager idishe shtime (Chicago
Jewish journal) and its editor.
