NOSN-NOTE SHTOKHAMER (1897-1940s)
He was
born in Yezupol (Yezupil’), Galicia, descended from a rabbinical family. He studied in St. Petersburg, Strelisk (Novi
Strilyshcha, Strzeliska Nowe), and from 1925 Stanisle (Stanislaviv). He was active in the “Tora veavoda” (Torah and belief) movement. He published poetry and stories in Lemberg’s Togblat (Daily newspaper) and Morgen (Morning). He edited Stanislaver
nakhrikhten (Stanislaviv reports).
Also, his Hebrew-language poetry appeared in print in Ḥazon (Vision) (Lvov, 1933). He died in Stanislaviv.
