MORTKHE
LOZNOVSKI (b. 1916)
He was born in Lodz, Poland, to a
father who was a craftsman. He later
became a laborer himself. He was active
in the theater studio of Hazemir (The nightingale), in the Ayznshlos
(Eisenschloss) Library, and other ventures as well. He was the author of Robot, de mekhanisher mentsh (Robot, the mechanical man), a one-act
play in two scenes (Lodz, 1939), 32 pp.
When the Germans were approaching Lodz, he fled to Soviet-occupied
terrain in Poland, and from that point there has been no further information
about him.
