KHAYIM
LUBIN (1894-November 22, 1980)
He was born in Brusilov (Brusyliv),
Ukraine. He studied in religious primary
school and later as an external student.
He immigrated to the United States in 1941. He completed his education as a dentist in
Chicago. From 1960 he was living in Los
Angeles. He wrote on Jewish art in: Zamlung (Collection) and Yidishe kultur (Jewish culture) in New
York; and Vokhnblat (Weekly
newspaper) in Toronto. In 1974 he
published an English-language book on Jewish art. He died in Los Angeles.
