DISTILATOR
He was a publisher in London. He published the Yiddish weekly Hashoyfer (der trumeyt) (The trumpet) in
London—first issue, January 21, 1874.
The editor (or associate editor) was Zalmen Elyashyevitsh, a Hebrew
writer who wrote under the pseudonym Ḥazal. Some scholars believe that Distilator was
also a co-editor of Hashoyfer. He used the pen name Tsitem.
