Together with Sh. Vaysblat, he
published Dos ershte yudishe
shokh-lehbukh (The first chess textbook) (Warsaw: Levin-Epshteyn, 1917), 240
pp., with a foreword by the authors. The
volume includes a number of “diagrams” of chess matches as well as
commentary. Vaysblat ran the chess
section of the weekly newspaper Dos folk
(The people).
