ZALMEN
SOBSHIN (b. April 26, 1892)
He was born in Byeshenkovitsh
(Byeshankovichy), Byelorussia. He
studied in religious elementary school.
In 1910 he immigrated to the United States. He worked in a sweatshop and studied at the
same time. He graduated from medical
school in 1917. From the 1940s he was
living in Miami Beach. In book form: Gezamlte lider (Selected poems) (Miami:
Bukh-komitet, 1947), 221 pp.
