(HIRSH) SAPIR
He was born in Bialystok, Russian
Poland. He studied in religious
elementary schools and yeshivas. Using
the name Hershele, he published humorous items in the Bialystok newspapers: Dos naye lebn (The new life) and Byalistoker shtime (Voice of Bialystok),
among others. He also contributed to the
jubilee issue of Dos naye lebn in
1929. He later lived in Warsaw until the
Hitler era. Further information remains
unknown.
