FISHL LIDOR

FISHL LIDOR (b. 1898)
            He was born in Lodz, Poland.  Over the years 1919-1923, he studied economics at Berlin University.  Until 1927 he lived in Berlin, before returning to Lodz.  He was the Berlin correspondent for: Lodzher tageblat (Lodz daily newspaper); Yidishes tageblat (Jewish daily newspaper) in New York; and Di tsayt (The times) in London.  He contributed (in German) to a number of periodicals in Germany.  He also published articles on political and economic topics.  His work appeared in: Lodzer handelstsaytung (Lodz business newspaper), Lodzer merkur (Lodz mercury), and Lodzher mantshester (Lodz Manchester), among others.  Among his pen names: Feliks and F. L. D’or.  He is thought to have died in 1936.
