SHNER (1912-August 22, 1984)
He was born in Lodz. He lived most of his life in Israel. He wrote research pieces in the publications
of YIVO on such topics as: Jewish labor in industrial undertakings,
agricultural lives of Jews, Jewish philanthropic institutions, and Yiddish
teachers and students. He served as
editor for a series of Hebrew books concerning the Holocaust and co-edited Dapim leḥeker hashoa vehamered (Pages
for the study of the Holocaust and the revolt), 2 vols. (Tel Aviv, 1969,
1973). He died in Jerusalem.
