LEYB SHERESHEVSKI (LEON SZERESZEWSKI) (1913-November 19, 1962)
The
author of stories, he was born in Rozhinoy (Ruzhany), Byelorussia. He attended religious elementary school and
public school. In 1930 he moved to
Buenos Aires and in 1935 settled in Tucuman.
He was the author of Far bagangene
zind, roman fun yidishn lebn in argentine (For a crime committed, a novel
of Jewish life in Argentina) (Buenos Aires, 1954), 311 pp. He published stories in the Yiddish press in
Buenos Aires, among other items a chapter from a longer work entitled Di baleydikte (The offended). He died in Tucuman, Argentina.
