TSVI SHNAYDER (1857-January 24, 1933)
He was a
humorist, born in Shineyeve (Syniava), Kherson Province. From 1906 he was living in Argentina. He lived in the Rivera colony. He published humorous sketches and stories
in: Idisher kolonist (Jewish
colonist), Di gezelshaft (The
society), and Idishe tsaytung (Jewish
newspaper). In book form: Der royter badkhn (The red wedding
entertainer) (Buenos Aires: Bikhlekh far yedn, 1919), 26 pp.; Humor un satire, dertseylungen un bilder fun
kolonistishen un algemayn kleynshtedteldigen idishen leben in argentine
(Humor and satire, stories and images from colonial and general small-town
Jewish life in Argentina) (Rivera, 1925), 192 pp. He died in Buenos Aires.
