ARN BEN-DOV HADAYEN

ARN BEN-DOV HADAYEN
            This was the pen name of A. Mitel.  He was born in the town of Baki (Buky), Kiev district, Ukraine.  He survived the pogroms there in 1919-1920.  He later lived in Kiev and Moscow, from whence he moved to Poland in 1922.  He authored an anti-Bolshevik drama entitled Der lumpen-proletaryer, a drame in 4 aktn fun yudishn lebn in der rusish-komunistisher despotye (The lumpen proletarian, a drama in four acts from Jewish life under Russian Communist despotism) (Warsaw, 1925), 66 pp.  Further biographical details remain unknown.
