YITSKHOK RUDASHEVSKI (ca. 1927-September 1943)
Born in Vilna,
he was a pupil in the senior high school there.
He was confined in the Vilna ghetto, age fifteen, and kept a diary which
was published with abstracts in Di
goldene keyt (The golden chain) in Tel Aviv 15 (1853), pp. 18-57. It also appeared in Hebrew translation by Avraham
Yavin under the title Yomano shel naar
mivilna, yuni 1941-april 1973 (The diary of a youngster from Vilna, June
1941-April 1943) (Tel Aviv, 1976), 126 pp.
He was murdered during the liquidation of the Vilna ghetto.
