MOYSHE RUBINSON (December 23, 1923-October 1, 1978)
A
journalist, he was born in Kovno. He was
confined in the Slabodka ghetto and fought with the partisans in the Rudnitski
forests. In 1956 he graduated from the
journalism faculty in Vilna. Before the
war he published articles and reportage pieces in Kovno’s daily newspaper Folksblat (People’s newspaper). Later, he wrote for: Shtral (Beam [of light]) in Kovno, Folks-shtime (People’s newspaper) in Warsaw, and Sovetish heymland (Soviet homeland) in
Moscow. From 1945 he also wrote in
Lithuanian newspapers. He died in Vilna.
