OSHER ROYZEN (b. February 10, 1900)
He was
born in Sampolne (Sompolno), Poland. He graduated
from the seventh class of high school. In
late 1919 he arrived in Canada, and in 1921 he settled in New York. He published poems and stories in: Keneder odler (Canadian eagle), Nyuansn (Nuances), Royerd (Raw earth), Shriftn
(Writings), In zikh (Introspective), Oyfkum (Arise), Di feder (The pen), and Zamlungen
(Collections). In the 1920s he wrote recreational
articles for Forverts (Forward) in
New York.
