TSHARNE RIGER (February 11, 1869-March 3, 1948)
She was
born in Loshe (Łoša), Galicia. She
studied Jewish subjects as well as attending a Polish public school. In 1913 she arrived in the United States and
settled in Chicago, where she was active in the Jewish community. She was the author of Der gezang fun mayn hartsen (The song of my heart) (Chicago, 1944),
48 pp. She died in Chicago.
