MOYSHE MAYZEL

MOYSHE MAYZEL (1908-September 1944)
            He came from Lodz, Poland.  From 1926 he was publishing lyrical and religious poems in Beys-yankev zhurnal (Beys-Yankev journal) and Der idisher arbayter (The Jewish worker) in Lodz, and other Orthodox periodicals in Poland.  In August 1944, the Nazis deported him from the Lodz ghetto to Auschwitz and murdered him there.
