HILLEL
MEYTIN (1876-February 22, 1947)
He was born in Bobruysk,
Byelorussia. In 1922 he arrived in the
United States, settled in New York, and was a teacher and a leader in Workmen’s
Circle schools. With Zalmen Yefroykin
and Shoyel Malts, he was a co-editor of Kinder-tsaytung
(Children’s newspaper), in which he published stories and poetry, often on
biblical themes. He died in New York.
