ZISHE BEK (ZYSZE BECK)

ZISHE BEK (ZYSZE BECK) (b. 1894)
He was born in Yaroslav, Galicia.  He lived in Dobromil (Dobromyl), Galicia, and later in Vienna.  He contributed to the German press.  After WWI, he returned to Dobromil.  He started by writing reports for Bas-kol (Heavenly voice) in Cracow (edited by Dr. Yoysef Zeliger).  He published in Hamitspeh (The watch tower) and Hatsofe (The spectator), among other serials.  He also wrote the book, Dos ehe lebn un di psikhe fun der froy (The husband’s life and the psyche of the wife) (Warsaw, 1929), 158 pp.
