AVROM FISHMAN (ABRAHAM FISCHMAN) (1885-June 25, 1950)
He came
from Russia. In 1910 he arrived in the
United States. He was a laborer. He was active in Workmen’s Circle. He published poems in: Di feder (The pen), Nay
yidish (New Yiddish), Tsuzamen
(Together) of which he was also co-editor, Nyu-yorker
vokhnblat (New York weekly newspaper), and Forverts (Forward), among others.
In book form: Ekhos fun troymen
(Echoes and dreams), poetry (New York, 1936), 80 pp. He died in New York.
